One of the best mornings of the year is Easter morning- between Easter baskets, egg hunts, and of course Easter Brunch, Easter is a time for celebration and indulgence!
Growing up, we basically always just ate our Easter candy all day long. But now I try to make something fun and festive for our Easter table- like these adorable Easter Bunny Crescent Roll Twists made with just a few simple ingredients!

Whether you’re just enjoying these festive Easter Bunny rolls while watching your kids hunt for eggs or you’re planning a fun dessert to bring to Easter dinner, these adorable little bunnies are sure to be a huge hit for any Easter celebration!
What fillings can I use for the crescent rolls?
I actually didn’t include any fillings in this recipe but rather seasoned them with cinnamon sugar, which my whole family loves! That said, you could totally make this your own and add fillings like hazelnut spread, marshmallow fluff, a small dollop of raspberry preserves, or even peanut butter.
Or, if you wanted to take it another route you could do a savory filling, like spinach dip, mozzarella cheese or even Jalapeno popper dip! {I’d skip the cinnamon sugar if you go the savory route, of course!}

Can I use homemade dough or do I have to use crescent roll dough?
I’m sure you could use your own homemade dough in place of the Pillsbury original crescent rolls- but I have never tried it so you’ll have to experiment a bit! Generally speaking the steps below should work just fine.
Can you make these Cinnamon Sugar Crescent Roll Bunnies ahead of time?
Yes! These are great for Easter brunch because you can make them the day before and not have to worry about them on a busy Easter morning! Just make sure that you store them at room temperature in an airtight container or in plastic wrap to keep them from getting stale. {Or bake a batch of them to enjoy throughout the Easter season!}
And I mention this in the recipe but it bears repeating- add those adorable bunnies tails {the marshmallows} shortly after baking, not later- those marshmallows won’t stick once the twists are fully cooled!
