Like Oliver on Only Murders in the Building, I love a good dip. {Don’t get the reference? Stream it on Hulu ASAP!}
What makes a good dip great? Well, delicious ingredients that fit together well, but equally as important is how easy it is to make it. If a recipe takes forever to make and uses lots of ingredients I have to buy just for that, the chances of me actually making it are slim to none. But this? This is a recipe anyone can make- and you probably have most of the ingredients already!
Whether you’re getting ready to host a party and want a delicious dip to add to your spread or you’re just a big fan of jalapeno poppers, this recipe is a must-try. It only takes a few minutes to prep and it comes together in just a couple of hours in the slow cooker.
This recipe is easy enough to make for a weekend on the couch but delicious enough to impress guests with- it really is the best of both worlds!
What can you dip in Jalapeno Popper Dip?
You can dip a variety of foods in Jalapeno Dip- it’s really up to personal preference. Some of my favorites to dip in it are little crustinis {pictured}, fresh veggies {especially bell peppers} or even crackers and pretzels.
If it helps, picture it as a hummus. Anything you’d dip in hummus, you can dip in Jalapeno Popper Dip- although the sky’s the limit!
Is this dip for jalapeno poppers? What do you dip jalapeno poppers in?
So this dip is not for dipping jalapeno poppers in, it’s actually made of jalapenos and tastes like jalapeno poppers! {Of course, if you REALLY love jalapeno poppers you could totally dip some in this. No judgement!}
If you’re looking more for something to dip actual jalapeno poppers in, try something like a blue cheese dip or a sweet chili sauce.
How long does Jalapeno Popper Dip stay good in the fridge?
If you’re hosting a party, this is a great dip recipe to make ahead of time for a party. So you’ll need to know how far ahead you can make it.
Or if you’re making it for a small group and don’t finish it in one sitting, you might want to know how long jalapeno dip can stay in the fridge before it goes bad.
Well, no worries because it’s actually good in the fridge for about four days as long as you put it in a properly sealed container!
