I love banana bread, and due to Shane’s obsession with buying bananas at the store but not actually eating them, I tend to make it a lot. {You can check out my favorite Banana Bread Recipe– it’s my go-to!} If you’re looking to satisfy a craving but don’t want to make a whole loaf of bread, this no-bake recipe is for you! This Banana Nut Bread Dip is a great, tasty alternative to actual bread- it has all of the tasty banana nut goodness but as a sweet, creamy dip.
It makes a great dip for sliced apples, vanilla wafers, graham crackers, pretzels- whatever you can think of! It would even be a great spread for bagels, toast, or pancakes. Looking for a yummy dessert? Just layer between vanilla or banana cake layers to create a delicious, creamy filling.
Banana Nut Bread Dip
Ingredients:
1 cup banana nut bread mix
1-8 oz. package of cream cheese
½ cup powdered sugar
¼ cup milk
4 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
¼ cup crushed walnuts
Directions:
With a hand or stand mixer, combine all ingredients except nuts until thoroughly mixed.
Gently mix in nuts, reserving a few for the top to garnish.
Let dip sit in refrigerator for at least 1 hour to overnight to allow the flavors to marry well.
What would you use this dip for?

This is an interesting idea. I never would have thought to use a boxed quickbread mix as the base for a dip or spread–love it! Thanks. It just might make an appearance on my table the next time I pick up some bagels.
