Prepare the Cardstock Elements
Start by downloading the SVG file here and uploading it to Cricut Design Space. Next, load and cut the following cardstock paper elements:
- From White Card Stock: Tiny Jack Skellington Face and Wreath Teeth
- From Yellow Card Stock: Wreath Eyes
- From Black Card Stock: Wreath Eye Pupils and Jack Skellington Eyes, Mouth, and Nostrils
Attach the Teeth
Using your hot glue gun, attach the wreath teeth onto the back of the wreath, positioning them so that they show through the front.
Assemble the Eyes
Glue the black pupils onto the yellow wreath eyes. Then, attach the assembled eyes to the front of the wreath, positioning them about 3-4 inches from the center of the wreath.
Create a Red Bow
Cut a 36-inch length of red burlap ribbon and tie it into a bow. Add a dab of hot glue to keep it together if you’d like.
Build Jack Skellington’s Face
Assemble the Jack Skellington face by affixing the eyes, nostrils, and smile to the white Jack face cutout.
Attach Jack to the Wreath
Using your hot glue gun, attach the Jack Skellington face to the center of the bow on the wreath. Use hot glue to secure the bow onto the bottom of the wreath, right in the center.
Hang and Enjoy!
Finally, hang your Nightmare Before Christmas wreath proudly on your door or wall and enjoy the spooky charm it brings to your Halloween décor!
Can I make this without a Cricut machine?
While a Cricut machine makes it easier to cut precise shapes, you can still create this wreath by hand-cutting the cardstock elements if you don’t have access to a Cricut.
Can I use different colors for the wreath’s elements?
Absolutely! Get creative and customize your wreath with colors that match your Halloween decor or your favorite characters from the movie.
Is there an alternative to burlap ribbon for the bow?

This fun wreath can be completed in a few hours, making it a perfect weekend project to get into the Halloween spirit.
Is this a Halloween wreath or a Christmas wreath?
This Halloween wreath can pull double duty just like the movie itself- hang it now for the Halloween season and if you’re a big fan of the movie, keep it up throughout the holiday season to add some spooky fun to your Christmas decorations!
What’s a good way to give this wreath as a gift?
This homemade wreath would make the perfect gift for a big fan of The Nightmare Before Christmas and add a touch of holiday magic!
