While I am so ready for fall, the weather is still working on catching up. I have been seeing {and buying} all kinds of delicious seasonal foods, many of them are best served hot- which doesn’t sound great when it’s still 100 degrees and sunny.
It may be another couple of weeks before I can get my boots out of the closet and sip on some hot apple cider, but in the meantime these Candy Corn Yogurt Pops are filling that void! They’re made of yogurt so they’re actually pretty good for you and you can enjoy them cold, so they’re perfect after spending some time soaking up the last rays of summer sunshine.

32 oz. container of vanilla yogurt
3 drops Wilton creamy vanilla custard flavoring
Wilton orange food gel
Wilton yellow food gel
3 Wilton disposable decorator icing bags {or you can use 3 Ziploc bags snipped at the corner}
Directions:
1. Distribute the yogurt evenly into three mixing bowls.
2. Add 3 drops of vanilla custard flavoring to each bowl. {This step is optional since the yogurt is already vanilla-flavored but well worth it as the taste and aroma reminds me of candy corn!) Stir well.
3. Add 1/8 teaspoon of the orange food gel into one of the bowls and stir well to evenly distribute the color. Cover and set aside in refrigerator for later use.
4. Add 1/8 teaspoon of the yellow food gel into the second bowl and stir well to evenly distribute the color. Cover and place in refrigerator to use later in recipe.
5. Transfer the white yogurt to a decorator icing bag and pipe into the bottom of each ice pop mold {gently tap on the mold to allow the yogurt to settle evenly}. This will be the “tip” of your candy corn. Freeze for 15 minutes.
6. Transfer the orange yogurt to a decorator icing bag and pipe in to each Popsicle mold for the middle layer of the candy corn. Freeze for 15 minutes.
7. Lastly, transfer the yellow yogurt to a decorator icing bag and pipe into each ice pop mold, up to the fill line. Insert the lids/sticks and freeze for at least 2 hours. Enjoy!
