When Shane finds something he likes, he wants to do it {or eat it, or watch it} over, and over, and over. Lately, his obsession has been The Gummy Bear Song! If you’ve never seen it, take a peek below:
Since my mother-in-law introduced Shane to this song sometime last month, he has watched it at least once {but usually more like five times} every single day. It’s even become part of our bedtime routine- two books, and Gummy Bear! So when I heard that Gummy Bear was coming to DVD- in a Christmas movie, no less- I knew we had to check it out!
When Santa is reported missing on Christmas Eve, Gummibär and his band of wacky, misfit friends shake their booties from the North Pole to the tropics on a madcap search. But when they discover Santa was abducted by a dance-crazed alien, the fate of Christmas morning rests in the hands — and feet — of our lovable green gummy bear! Featuring the #1 hit “I Am A Gummy Bear (The Gummy Bear Song)” two holiday-themed songs and other Gummibär hits, saving Christmas has never been this much fun!
I wasn’t sure what to expect from the movie since I’d only seen a music video from Gummy Bear. It was definitely different than most Christmas movies but I still enjoyed it- and Shane absolutely loved it. I asked him what his favorite part was & he said, “When they were dancing,” which was pretty much the entire movie, so that’s good! There were also a whole bunch of fun characters and we found ourselves laughing quite a bit.
After the movie, Shane wanted to watch all of the music videos too. We had only seen the original Gummy Bear song so it was fun to mix it up a bit! The DVD includes 6 music videos:
“Christmas Is Coming”
“You Know It’s Christmas”
“La La I Love You”
“Go For The Goal”
“Mr Mister Gummibär”
“Bubble Up”
Buy It: You can buy Gummibär: The Yummy Gummy Search For Santa for the MSRP of $14.98 at stores near you or on Amazon for $9.96!
Note: I received a copy of the movie to facilitate this review. All experiences are authentic & all opinions are my own.
