This weekend is Valentine’s Day and just like the rest of the holidays in the last year, our celebrations are going to look a little different. We’ll be celebrating from home instead of going out to dinner- but that’s okay because that gives us more time to celebrate Valentine’s Day with Animal Crossing: New Horizons!
Since last summer with the kids’ graduations, we’ve been celebrating lots of milestones and holidays {like Halloween} with AC:NH. It lets us celebrate with friends and family who can’t be with us- and even just gives us a chance to have fun celebrating together!
If you’re looking for some more fun ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day with Animal Crossing: New Horizons, here are some easy ways to get the party started!
Send letters and gifts with special cards
Right now if you send a gift or a letter, there are a few Valentine’s Day themed cards to choose from! I sent Zac a flower bouquet and used this adorable card to send it!
Purchase Gifts in the Seasonal tab of Nook Shopping
You can buy a box of chocolates or a bouquet of roses {in a heart shape!} for your loved ones or villagers- or for yourself! Check back every day because there are different colors available that rotate out daily.
Dress up
Dress up for Valentine’s Day with clothes from the Able Sisters Shop! Whether you decide to don a tux, an elegant gown, or a heart sweatshirt- they’ve got you covered!
Decorate with Custom Designs
Set up fun displays on your island using custom designs! Create a heart filled path, fly a cupid flag, or set up a Valentine’s Day cake stand like I did!
However you choose to celebrate Valentine’s Day in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, I hope it’s a day filled with love!
You can even keep the fun going with these fun downloadable virtual Valentine’s Day cards! Text or email them to friends or share on social media- there are so many cute ones!
