Shane loves to create. He likes to draw, color, and use clay, but his absolute favorite medium is stickers! I find random stickers everywhere and he refuses to throw any sticker away, whether it’s a size tag from a piece of clothing, a name tag from a class, or a sticker that’s lost it’s “sticky” and has to be taped on. I think this love of stickers is why he loves the Monster High Monster Maker so much!
The Monster High Monster Maker lets you design and create your very own Monster High dolls. It comes with three sets of bodies {three heads, three torsos, six legs, and six arms} that you can decorate by using the free Monster Maker software either on your computer or your iPad or Android tablet. You just select a body part, add tons of stickers {Shane’s favorite part, of course} and then switch out the markers as needed {the software tells you what marker to use when}. After just a few minutes, you’ve literally created a monster! The set comes with three wigs {two plastic and one with doll hair}, three dresses, and three sets of shoes so you can dress up your new ghoulfriend and start playing!
The Monster Maker is so much fun because it allows for unlimited designs. You can choose from several stickers and place them anywhere in the printing window you’d like. When I made mine, I put the eyes where eyes typically go, but Shane put one right in the center of her face and then one next to that- and even a bolt on her nose! Whether your little one chooses to make the doll actually look like a doll or more like a monster, they can do it with just a drag & drop. Check out how easy it is to do:
A couple extra bonuses that parents will appreciate are that the batteries are included and the pieces are reusable. Whenever your little one wants to create a new monster, you can just wash the pieces off with dish soap, dry thoroughly, and create again!
If you have a Monster High fan at home, you’ll definitely want to check out the Monster Maker and some of the other great toys available at Toys R Us this holiday season. I know our resident Monster High doll, Cleo de Nile, has her eye on a few things!
