I love staying active, but my favorite ways- going for long walks with the dogs and spending hours in the pool- aren’t exactly easy to do year-round. Where I live, it gets REALLY hot in the summer, which is perfect for swimming but not walking, and really cold sometimes in the winter- which is not great for either.
I’m always looking for fun ways to stay active no matter the weather, which of course usually means an indoors option. But those can quickly get boring, so my favorite hack is to game-ify it! The latest way I’ve been doing that? Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer for Nintendo Switch!

About the Game:
Fitness Boxing 3 is the latest installment in the Fitness Boxing series, which brings even more variety to at-home workouts. It includes over 30 instrumental tracks, routines you can customize, and new workout styles- including a version where you can sit!
No matter how you play, this game is designed to keep you moving- whether you’re a beginner or looking to level up your fitness routine. You can also customize your virtual trainer’s appearance and set personal goals, making it a more personalized fitness experience.

My Thoughts
I’ve played Fitness Boxing 2 before so I wasn’t going into this game completely blind- even though they have definitely made some changes!
In addition to new content like Mitt Drills and Sit Fit Boxing, the game had a lot of built-in improvements like more responsive motion controls. This was really nice for tracking but mostly for helping to really get into the rhythm- nothing throws off your vibe faster than having to deal with a game not picking up what you’re throwing down.

The game gives great positive feedback which I personally find motivating, and I love that you can adjust the difficulty and intensity so the game can meet you where you’re at on any given day.
The music is one thing that may have differing opinions- I personally loved it because I actually prefer instrumental music, but if you don’t, you might want to bring your own playlist because that’s all they have. For me though, this was absolutely perfect.
If you’re looking for a fun new way to get or stay active, no matter what the weather is outside, I strongly recommend trying Fitness Boxing 3! You can even play a demo of it from Nintendo!

Buy It: You can find Fitness Boxing 3 at major retailers on online at {affiliate link} Amazon. You can also download a digital copy from the Nintendo eShop.
