Do you have a superhero inside? Now with DC Super Hero Girls: Teen Power on Nintendo Switch, you can tap into that hero and beat baddies all over Metropolis!

When I first saw DC Super Hero Girls: Teen Power, I knew that this would be a great game for Zac- and for me! Even though there are villains, the game is super light-hearted and positive- after all, you’re a hero!
The game is based on the show DC Super Girls, which sets a great example of strong and kind female heroes making a difference. The game takes that up a notch, letting you dive into the action! This game really feels like an interactive episode of the show, where you control what happens next!

About the game:
Something bad is threating Metropolis and it’s even worse than the teachers at Metropolis High School who assign too much homework. The city’s currently under attack by a fiendish group of DC Super-Villains, so if you’ve got superpowers and super style to spare, then Metropolis needs you! In the DC Super Hero Girls™: Teen Power game for Nintendo Switch system, you’ll get to take on the roles of the superpowered Wonder Woman, Supergirl and Batgirl. Suit up as these butt-kicking besties and make those dastardly Super-Villains change their ways. No one stands in between these DC Super Hero Girls and a good time!
When you’re not fighting crime and keeping the city safe, you’ll be able to explore the highlights of Metropolis. Do some shopping downtown with your gal pals and customize your wardrobe or grab a bite to eat at Sweet Justice. (Just make sure no one figures out your secret identities.)

Zac’s Thoughts {7 years old}
I like how you fight bad guys, and that you play as different heroes. I like how the villains look. Parts of the game are hard, like collecting coins and fighting some of the harder bad guys. My favorite part of the game is the fighting.
My thoughts on gameplay for a seven year old:
This game is definitely great for kids this age! There’s a lot of dialogue, but it’s actually read out loud so there’s no issue with reading skills. None of the villains were too scary for Zac, although some of them he did need some help to battle. He really got into this game quickly, and I think for him it really was like a TV show where he was the star!

My Thoughts:
I thought this game was really fun, and immediately found the appeal. It’s bright and cheerful {despite all the bad guys} and I loved the example of strong, powerful girls making a difference in their city! I have never seen the show it’s based on and have only a vague awareness of the superheroes themselves, but was able to follow along with the different characters and storylines just fine without feeling like I missed something, which can happen sometimes with games based on existing characters.
This game has something for everyone, from the battles to the shopping to the social media aspect. The game is made for kids, but is fun for adults as well.
