With the ten thousand responsibilities we all deal with each day, it is so important to make time for self-care. There are so many different ways to take time for yourself- whether that’s watching a favorite show on Netflix or going for a run every morning.
Since my kiddos are still little and my husband works weird hours, I don’t have much time for self-care. I stay up way too late to squeeze a little bit in before bed but otherwise, my main time for self-care is in the bath. Not everyone’s a bath person but I personally love them. I get to soak my sore muscles, listen to some calming music-or even just the silence, and usually I add something special to the bath, whether it’s epsom salts, a face mask, or bath bombs.
Buying bath bombs can get really expensive, really fast- but you don’t have to buy them! You can make your own and while it costs a little bit to get the initial supplies, you’ll save a lot of money and you can get creative, too!
There are lots of different ways to make bath bombs but I think these are one of the cutest. These Donut Bath Bombs are cute enough already but when you add the glaze- made from soap- and some {optional!} sprinkles, they look like the real thing! These ones even smell like birthday cake, though you can choose your favorite scent to make them perfect for you.

5. Add bath bomb mixture into mold and press down with your fingers. Allow to dry overnight.
6. Carefully “pop” bombs from mold. Spread out onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
7. Melt soap in microwave safe bowl in 25 second bursts until melted.
8. Using a squirt bottle or spoon, drizzle soap over donut bath bomb.
