I love cooking with all kinds of spices {seriously, my spices shelf is overloaded} so I thought I’d share one of my favorite seasoning mix recipes with you- my homemade Sloppy Joe seasoning mix! {Want more DIY Seasoning Blends? Try this Chili Seasoning Mix and this Homemade Guacamole Seasoning!}
PLEASE NOTE! This recipe is to make a whole batch of seasoning, this is not the serving amount for one dinner! I have seen a few comments on Pinterest who thought the quantities were a typo, but it’s because they didn’t realize it was for a whole batch of seasoning that you can use over & over again!
ALSO, if your kids aren’t really into spice, play around with the amount of chili powder. I’d recommend starting with 1 cup and try it from there- it’ll make less in the batch, but once you find your perfect ratio you can always double the whole recipe.
Find an alteration that works for you? I’d love to hear about it in the comments!

2 cups of chili powder? Is that a misprint?
