Chips are my absolute favorite snack food. I can’t even keep chips in my house because they don’t last more than a couple of days around here, but when we’re having a celebration of any kind, they are a must-have! While our family’s Cinco de Mayo festivities are actually focused on my hubby’s birthday, which is the same day, it’s {always} the perfect time to make some chips & guac! This homemade guacamole seasoning is delicious and perfect for your next fiesta!

Guacamole Seasoning
Ingredients:
8 tsp. dried cilantro
4 tsp. dried minced onion
4 tsp. onion powder
2 tsp. salt
1-2 tsp. chili pepper flakes, depending on how spicy you want to make it
Directions:
1. Combine the ingredients and store in an airtight container.
2. Add 1-2 tablespoons to 2 mashed avocados {more or less to taste}.
Optional: Add 1-2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice.

I love making my own mix. I know what is in it and it tastes really yummy! What do you like to eat with guacamole?

This would be great to have on hand, as I love avocados, and like to keep it fast and easy! It would make a nice gift, too, along with some avocados!
