If you’re a parent, you’ve likely memorized the theme song to numerous cartoons & other kids’ shows. You may even know the lines to your child’s favorite episodes by heart! {Guilty. So, so guilty.} So whenever a new show comes along, it’s like a sigh of relief- finally we get to watch something different!
Until your child gets obsessed with that show.
Julius Jr. hasn’t even premiered yet, but I already know that’s going to be on Shane’s list. Lucky for him, the show looks totally cute, so I don’t have any objections to adding it to our DVR. We haven’t “met” most of the characters yet, but Shane’s been obsessed with buying anything with Julius on it for over a year {including his favorite pair of shoes}.
The show stars a funky monkey named Julius. Based on the Paul Frank brand and family of characters, the show documents the adventures of Julius Jr. and his fun loving friends – Worry Bear, Sheree, Clancy, and Ping. The ordinary transforms into magical fun during each episode of Julius Jr., opening the door to a world of imagination your child will love.
Julius Jr. is a funky monkey with a penchant for invention. Together with his best pals, Worry Bear, Sheree, Clancy and Ping, they build a playhouse out of a simple cardboard box, but when they step inside, to their surprise and delight, they discover a magical playroom where ordinary objects come to life and fantastic adventures are just a door away! Julius Jr. and his best pals are coming to Nick Jr. Sundays at 11am/10c starting September 29th.
Shane & I are both excited for the premiere of this show but luckily we don’t have to wait long! The first episode premieres this Sunday, September 29th at 11am/10c. &If your little one is as excited as mine, you may want to check out Nick Jr.’s website, where they have tons of fun printables!
Will you be tuning in?

Well, I obviously don’t have anyone in that age range to watch it, but it really does sound cute. Nick does a great job with their kids’ line-up.
