Have you ever known someone who hated chocolate? Yeah, me neither. I knew one unfortunate person who was allergic, but that’s about it. So I won’t waste your time telling you why chocolate is amazing.

We all know though that not all chocolate is created equal. Not only are there so many different varieties of flavors & combinations, but there are several different brands that all try to perfect the recipe for that sweet chocolate we all love so much. One of my favorite chocolate companies has always been See’s Candies.

See’s Candies have been around since 1921 {that’s over 90 years!}, since Mary See opened her first candy shop. To this day, they use only the freshest, finest ingredients & add no preservatives, ever. {I find that to be kind of a huge deal.} They now have over 200 candy shops and an online store, so clearly they’re doing something right.

I was recently asked if I wanted to do a review for See’s {well, of course I did!} &was able to select a couple of products to try out.

See's Toffee-ettes

Toffee-ettes {$17.50 for 1 lb.}

I am a bit crazy about toffee, so I had to try these. They are chunks of butter toffee & roasted almonds covered in See’s milk chocolate & then coated with more roasted almonds. &Yes, they are as amazing as they sound.

I received my box of assorted chocolates as part of a special packaging called the Keepsake Duo, which was a limited-time offering {&is now gone from their website} and included cute butterfly packaging. The candy is the same though & features all the classics, including Butterscotch squares, dark nougat, Marzipan, California Brittle & more. {Or if you’re like me, you may refer to them as “that square one”, “the rectangle with the squigglies”, and “that one with the sprinkles”, in no particular order.}

See’s Candies offers several types of candy & many ways to purchase it. Whether you choose to get all one flavor, one of their many variety packs, or even create a custom mix, you’ll definitely find something perfect for you!

  13. Anything chocolate is my favorite! If it has chocolate, it’s mine! LOL! But I think my all-time favorite candy is Reese’s peanut butter cups! Chocolate + Peanut Butter – YUMMY!
