Taco Pinwheels

An easy dinner or appetizer idea

These taco pinwheels make for a great appetizer for a party or even a weeknight dinner option when paired with some veggies or a side salad! They're made with crescent roll dough, so they really are easy to make!

Ingredients

– 1 pound ground beef – 1 small onion, finely chopped – 1 10-ounce can diced tomatoes with green chilis – 1 packet taco seasoning – 1/3 cup water – 2 crescent roll dough sheets – 8 ounces cream cheese, softened – 2 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese

HOW SHOULD YOU SERVE TACO PINWHEELS? For a party: Make a batch then serve them on a platter alongside your favorite taco toppings in a taco bar. For dinner: Serve alongside a side salad or some veggies!

HOW DO YOU ROLL UP TACO PINWHEELS? Check out the full post for more info but it's simple, I promise! Using crescent roll dough makes it even easier as the dough is literally made to be rolled up.

CAN YOU MAKE PINWHEELS AHEAD OF TIME? They're best fresh, but if you'll be pressed for time you can either completely bake them ahead of time or just get the dough prepped and ready to bake. See post for directions!
