Easy Easter  Peeps Cupcakes

Simple easter dessert

Looking for a fun and absolutely adorable dessert for your Easter celebration?  Whether you’re getting ready for an egg hunt, an Easter party or just want something to bring to family dinner, look no further than these Easter Peeps cupcakes!

Ingredients

– For the cupcakes: – 1 box white cake mix (plus ingredients to prepare as listed on box) – ½ package (3 ounce) Strawberry Jello – ½ package (3 ounce) Berry Blue Jello – For the icing: – 1 cup butter, softened – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 6 cups powdered sugar – 2-3 tablespoons milk – Pink food coloring – Blue food coloring – Pink and Blue Bunny Peeps

WHAT INGREDIENTS DO I NEED TO MAKE PEEPS CUPCAKES? To make these you'll need cake mix, whatever you cake mix calls for, and Jello mix. The frosting requires more, but you can always get store-bought!

HOW LONG DO PEEPS CUPCAKES STAY FRESH? This is the one tricky bit about baking with Peep candy- if you have any experience eating them, you know they get stale pretty quickly once you open the package! These will stay good for 2-3 days when stored properly.

WHAT OTHER FLAVORS COULD YOU TRY? You could use any Jello flavor available. Whether you’re trying to match Peeps that are a different color or you just don’t like the flavors I used, you can totally get creative with this and use any kind of Peeps!

With their bright colors and delicious marshmallows on top, these cupcakes will be a hit with the kids and grown ups alike!
