Mini  Apple Pies

SUper simple  mini Apple pies!

The holidays are just around the corner which means it’s time to start planning your Thanksgiving meal!  Whether you’re hosting or just need something to bring, these Mini Apple Pies are absolutely perfect.

Ingredients

– 1 package refrigerated pie crust dough (2 crusts) – 1 21-ounce can apple pie filling – 1 egg (optional) – 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)

DO YOU COOK APPLES BEFORE MAKING PIE? Nope, and this recipe uses the ultimate shortcut ingredient, apple pie filling!

HOW DO YOU KEEP THE CRUST OF APPLE PIE FROM GETTING SOGGY? They shouldn't get soggy at all, but if they do you can add a small layer of dried {unseasoned} breadcrumbs or corn flakes during baking.

DOES APPLE PIE NEED TO BE REFRIGERATED? Apple pie does not need to be refrigerated as long as it contains sugar. Make sure to wrap these so they don't dry out!
