Cold Crab Dip

Cold Crab  DIP RECIPE

This recipe uses quite a few ingredients but comes together in just two easy steps- without having to turn on the oven.  It’s easy to prepare in advance since it’s served cold and it’s a total crowd pleaser. Read on to find out how to make and serve it!

Ingredients

– 1 pound lump crab meat or imitation crab, finely chopped – 1 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened – 1/3 cup mayonnaise – 1/3 cup sour cream – 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese – 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese – 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning – 1 garlic clove, minced – 1 TBSP Tabasco sauce or other hot sauce – Juice from 1 lemon – Salt and pepper

WHAT DO YOU EAT WITH COLD CRAB DIP? Cold Crab Dip is best with crackers, especially salty ones like saltines or butter crackers. It's also great with veggies or even chips.

HOW LONG DOES COLD CRAB DIP LAST IN THE FRIDGE? This dip lasts in the fridge for up to 5 days when stored in an airtight container.

WHAT IF MY COLD CRAB DIP IS RUNNY? No worries, just add a little bit of cream cheese at a time, stirring well each time you add more to check the consistency.
