One of my favorite celebrations as a kid is coming up- Dr. Seuss Day! Every year on March 2nd, Dr. Seuss is remembered for his contribution to children’s literature. Whether you dreamt of making a mess with The Cat in the Hat or wanted to save the Truffula Trees with The Lorax, Dr. Seuss probably wrote at least a few of the books that defined your childhood. He would have been 112 this year, and his legacy now lives on as strong as ever.
The 20 Dr. Seuss inspired activities and crafts below would be a great way to celebrate Dr. Seuss Day, but they’d be a great way to enrich his books year-round! Whether you pick an activity to bond over your child’s favorite book or pair one with a story that’s new to your family, you can rhyme all the time and glue it while you do it! {Sorry, I couldn’t resist!}
