I received the Caraway Cookware set to facilitate this review which did not influence my opinion in any way. This post contains affiliate links.
You may have seen Caraway Home ads come across your Instagram feed- if you’ve ever seen a set of beautiful, colorful pans that are non-toxic and come with their own storage solution, that’s definitely Caraway. That’s how I was first introduced to them- and it was love at first sight.

The cookware set had me instantly with its deep, navy color {it comes in 7 other colors if Navy isn’t your thing} and the more I looked into it, the more I wanted to try it. That said, it’s not cheap- the basic 12 piece set will run you $635 when there aren’t any sales. At such a high price, I figured there was no way it was actually worth it- but I was so, so wrong. Keep reading to find out more about my experience with Caraway Home Cookware- and why I’m never going back.
One of the first things that drew me to the Caraway Cookware set was the design- even aside from the color, it’s just genuinely beautiful. The clean lines, modern silhouette, and soft matte finish make these pieces look just as good sitting on the stovetop as they do tucked away in a cabinet- there are definitely times I keep them out on purpose.

With so many color options available, it’s easy to find a set that fits your personal style or kitchen aesthetic. As I mentioned, I went with Navy– but you can also choose from Cream, Gray, Sage, Peracotta, Marigold, Black, or White. {Note: Black and White come with gold hardware and cost an extra $150 for the basic set.}
Now, $600+ is a LOT to spend on cookware because it’s pretty. But Caraway didn’t stop at pretty.
The build quality is even more impressive than the aesthetics. Each piece is made with an aluminum core for even heat distribution- and man, does that deliver. I’ve had “nice” cookware before that promises to deliver on even heat distribution but it never actually has- until now. Even cooking with the bigger pieces of cookware, the heat really does distribute to the entire piece and my food really does cook evenly.
One of the biggest selling points for me was that these are coated with a ceramic non-stick surface that’s both functional and free of toxic materials like PTFE, PFOA, and other chemicals commonly found in traditional non-stick cookware. Non-stick is a MUST for me, but I know that the majority of brands out there aren’t healthy choices for my family. That said, I am very confident in the safety of this cookware set.
The stainless steel handles are sturdy and feel secure when lifting or pouring. There’s a point where they do get hot, but they’ve thoughtfully crafted a notch into that spot to help warn you from going too far. Sometimes you will want to grab that spot, like when pouring, so I recommend keeping a mitt nearby when you’re cooking in those instances. However, if you stick to the outer bit, it doesn’t get hot at all.

The set also includes thoughtful accessories that make a big difference in everyday use. The magnetic pan racks are a great solution for vertical storage that helps prevent the pieces from scratching each other. There’s also a canvas lid holder that attaches to the inside of your cabinet door to keep things organized and within reach. My cabinet doors are too short for this one, but it’s a brilliant inclusion for those who can use it.
It’s clear that design wasn’t just an afterthought here- it’s integrated into how the cookware functions, stores, and elevates your kitchen as a whole!
Oh, and don’t even get me started on the cleaning! This cookware is hand-wash only but I don’t even mind- and not just because the handwash is now my teenager’s job. Even he doesn’t mind washing these- they clean up so easily on their own, he barely has to do anything. Even the sticky sauces we cook with often wipe out really easily.

Some things to watch out for when using these are that you’re not going to want to use metal utensils so you don’t scratch the non-stick surface {they sell these utensils if you need them}, and you’ll want to utilize that included storage system so they don’t scuff each other up. Doing these, along with hand-washing and not cooking above medium heat {I promise, you don’t need to} will help these last a long, long time.
While I can’t tell you if these are worth the price to you, I can tell you that they absolutely were for me. I don’t anticipate having to repurchase these for a long time, but when the time comes, I absolutely will. {I am, however, building out my collection in the meantime!}
If you’re looking to switch over to a safer, prettier, easier-to-clean cookware set, I highly recommend giving Caraway a try! They actually offer a 30-day trial so you can return your pieces no-questions-asked if you don’t love them as much as I do.
