This post is in partnership with Wildgrain. All opinions are my own.
One of the best parts about the holidays is that people come together to celebrate. Getting together with loved ones is truly the thing that makes this time of year so magical.
It can be hard to enjoy every moment if you’re the one hosting- there’s a lot to do between cleaning, coordinating everyone, tackling the menu and more. But there are some things that can make that easier- like getting your menu delivered to your door!

You may have seen butter boards taking over social media lately, and they’re gorgeous- but so messy! Instead, consider a bread board- which is super easy to put together when you have small-batch artisanal breads shipped right to your door from Wildgrain.

Wildgrain is a subscription box that is perfect for everything the holidays can throw your way. There are two types of boxes- one box called the Mixed Box that has breads, pastas, and pastries and one called the Bakery Box that has breads and pastries. The flavors change monthly so you always have the perfect, in-season baked goods to serve whether you’re hosting Thanksgiving, having a cookie decorating party with the kids, or even having everyone over on Christmas morning!

I used my October Mixed Box to create this delicious and super simple Bread Board. To make it, I baked several varieties from my box -the Plain Sourdough Loaf, Rosemary Garlic Sourdough Loaf, the Parmesan Herb Biscuits and the FREE croissants that come in every box!
While I was baking the breads, which was super easy because you just bake them from frozen, I whipped up some Sun Dried Tomato Garlic Butter. Here’s how to make it!

Sun Dried Tomato Garlic Butter Recipe
Ingredients:
½ cup {1 stick} unsalted butter
5 cloves of roasted garlic, mashed
2 TBSP finely chopped sun dried tomatoes
1 tsp dried parsley
Salt to taste
Directions:
Use a hand mixer to cream the butter, about 1-2 minutes
Add in garlic cloves and parsley and combine another 1-2 minutes, until mixed well
Fold in sun dried tomatoes, sprinkle with salt and mix well

How to Assemble a Bread Board
Of course, it’s not really a board with just one flavor of butter, so I picked up a few extras at the store. I included both sweet and savory varieties so each guest could make their own perfect combination with the flavored butters and the delicious, fresh-baked goodies!

To assemble my bread board, I got out a few small containers to put the butter in and put them on a long wooden cheeseboard. Then when my bread was all done baking, I sliced it and added it around the board- making sure to add each variety in a few places so it’d be easier for everyone to reach!

One tip for baking Wildgrain breads for use in a bread board: many of the breads have similar baking instructions, so try to pair those together. For example, both sourdough loaves needed the same temperature and the same bake time- and they both required 20 minutes at the end to finish the bake out of the oven. So I made those together, and first- that way while they were finishing up, I had my biscuits and croissants in the oven at the same temperature {with two timers, since that part was different}!
One of the best things about a Wildgrain Subscription is that not only are you getting delicious breads that are better than what you find at the local grocery store, but you are also supporting bakers. If that’s not enough to convince you, you’ll get free delicious croissants with each box!
