What would you do if your pet suddenly had superpowers? Do you think they’d use them for good- or for total world domination??
In DC League of Super-Pets, Krypto is Superman’s dog and they grew up together, fighting bad guys and looking out for each other. That is, until Lois Lane enters the picture- and suddenly, Krypto isn’t Superman’s priority anymore.
That brings Superman to a pet rescue, where he tries to find a buddy for Krypto- until chaos ensues when Lex Luthor’s former guinea pig gets superpowers- and so do the animals at the rescue!
About the movie:
In “DC League of Super-Pets,” Krypto the Super-Dog (Dwayne Johnson) and Superman (John Krasinski) are inseparable best friends, sharing the same superpowers and fighting crime in Metropolis side by side. When Superman and the rest of the Justice League are kidnapped, Krypto must convince a rag-tag shelter pack—Ace the hound (Kevin Hart), PB the potbellied pig (Vanessa Bayer), Merton the turtle (Natasha Lyonne) and Chip the squirrel (Diego Luna)—to master their own newfound powers and help him rescue the superheroes.
My family finally had the chance to watch this family recently and it was hilarious! We all had our favorite pets and there were so many great laugh-out-loud scenes. There were also some great lessons to learn, like how you can really be there for someone you love and how it’s okay to let people in. {Even for Batman.}
