One of the best family movies over the summer- Minions: The Rise of Gru– is finally available to watch at home!
We went to see this in the theater and it was one of the best things we did over summer break. Whether you saw it over summer too or you were too busy splashing in the pool, you can watch it as many times as you want now when you pick it up on Blu-ray or DVD- or when you download it instantly on Digital!
About the movie:
Long before he becomes the master of evil, Gru is just a 12-year-old boy in 1970s suburbia, plotting to take over the world from his basement. When the infamous supervillain group, the Vicious 6, ousts their leader, Gru attempts to join their ranks but soon finds himself the mortal enemy of the apex of evil. With Gru on the run, the Minions attempt to learn martial arts to help save him, and Gru discovers that even bad guys need a little help from their friends. Packed with the franchise’s signature subversive humor, MINIONS: THE RISE OF GRU features more thrilling action than any Despicable Me film ever before!
Our whole family has seen all the previous Minions and Despicable Me movies many times, so we knew this one would be hilarious too! This one didn’t let us down and we were all laughing and talking about our favorite parts long after the credits rolled.
The movie has been out on digital for a little bit but if you like physical movies, you can grab the Blu-ray or DVD now too. No matter which route you take, there are so many special features to look forward to:
