I love getting Shane involved in the kitchen, and he loves helping out. Even Zac helps out when he can! They like helping with all kinds of things from cracking eggs to stirring potatoes, but they are always much more excited to help out when they’re helping make dessert!
These Santa’s Snacks treats are so easy to make that you can easily whip up a batch after school for an after-school snack. While they may be simple, they taste delicious- and they’re sure to put you in the holiday spirit!
Ingredients:
2 cups butterscotch pudding, prepared according to box instructions
4 mini graham cracker crumb crusts
2 cups whipped topping
10 gingersnap or gingerbread cookies, small
Directions:
1. Scoop approximately ½ cup pudding into each mini crust.
2. If you want to pipe the topping, simply cut a small corner off a plastic food storage bag. Fill the bag half full with the whipped topping and pipe on top of the pudding. Alternately, you can scoop the topping on top and mound it to look like snow banks!
3. Place 6 cookies into another plastic food storage bag and crush them fairly fine. You want some larger pieces and some smaller for variety.
4. Sprinkle the cookie crumbs on top of the whipped topping. Use the remaining 4 cookies to place into each dessert as garnish when serving. Enjoy!
