Now that summer is officially over, it’s football season! Whether you’re a sports fan or not, everyone knows football food is the best part of football. This month I’ll be sharing some great recipes to help you rock your next football party!
Wilton recently sent me some of their starting lineup- the tools and ingredients that will make this a winning season {whether your team actually wins or not}. One of my favorite things that I received is the Perfect Results Mega Cookie Pan, which is HUGE and solves so many problems.
Whenever I tried using my standard cookie sheets in the past, I always had issues whenever I needed to use more than one. I couldn’t fit two full cookie sheets on the same shelf in my oven, but I didn’t want my food to cook at different temperatures by placing the sheets on different racks. This cookie sheet solves that problem because it is the entire size of my oven, so there’s no wasted space and I can make enough to feed everyone at a football party without worrying if some are overbaked or undercooked!
There are so many different snacks that you can make for football parties, and sometimes it’s fun to switch it up. One of my favorite game day foods is roasted potatoes, and these bite sized nibbles are perfect for snacking while watching the game! It’s easy to make a large amount of them quickly- especially with the Mega Cookie Pan- so you can feed a lot of people fast and with minimal effort. You can easily customize the recipe by switching out the spices, but this is our winning combo!
Ingredients:
4 lb. Fingerling Potatoes {Yellow}
½ tsp Onion Powder
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Minced Garlic
1 ½ tsp Italian Seasoning
½ Cup or so of Olive Oil plus additional for spraying
Salt to taste
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Cut potatoes into ¾ inch chunks- Fingerling Potatoes vary in size but for the most part, I cut each of mine into 8 pieces.
2. Put the potatoes into a large pot filled with enough water to cover them all by about 2 inches. Bring the pot to a boil and cook the potatoes for 10 minutes. The potatoes should be fork tender.
3. Meanwhile, mix the ½ cup Olive Oil and the herbs together in a small bowl. Set aside.
4. Place potatoes onto the Wilton Perfect Results Mega Cookie Pan on an even, single layer. Use an oil sprayer filled with olive oil {or if you don’t have one, you can just lightly coat the potatoes with olive oil}.
5. Brush the potatoes with the oil and herb mixture.
6. Place the potatoes into the oven for 20 minutes or until potato skins are crisp, flipping them over about halfway through.
7. Sprinkle a little bit of salt to taste if desired and enjoy!
The Wilton Perfect Results Mega Cookie Pan is perfect for whatever you’re putting in the oven. It’s non-stick and dishwasher safe, two of my favorite things about anything kitchen-related, and the potatoes cooked perfectly even for a perfect result!
Whatever team you’re cheering for, victory tastes even better with good food. You can find the Wilton Perfect Results Mega Cookie Pan online at Wilton.com or in stores near you. Be sure to check out Wilton’s website where you’ll find more Game On ideas for your next football party!
