I love making cute snacks for the boys, especially when those snacks are easy to make. They love getting sandwiches shaped like bears or candy shaped like mice- or in this case, pudding decorated like a turkey!
These easy-t0-make Turkey Dessert Shooters are perfect for Thanksgiving- whether used as a snack to help kiddos fill their tummies while they’re waiting for the big turkey dinner or as an after-dinner dessert, they’re sure to make kids & grown-ups alike smile!
Turkey Dessert Shooters
Makes 4
Ingredients and Supplies:
1 small box instant chocolate pudding
Candy corn of choice {I used peanut butter & chocolate and regular}
White and black puffy paint
Orange paint
Clear plastic 5oz cups {like these}
Directions:
-Make circles with white puffy paint for the eyes and fill in. {Be careful not to use too much or it can run.} Allow to dry.
-Then use the black puffy paint for pupils and paint a triangle with the orange paint for the beak. Allow paint to dry.
-Prepare the pudding according to instructions and pour into cups.
-When ready to serve, add the candy corn feathers. {Don’t add these beforehand because after a few hours in the fridge they will begin to dissolve.} Enjoy!
Note: These snacks are super easy to make, but the cup decorations do take a few minutes to dry so if you know you’re going to be making these for ravenous kiddos, you may want to prep the cups themselves ahead of time!
