Summer is officially beginning to wind down, and we’re beginning to panic. We have a huge list of things that we need to do before school starts in just three weeks! Some of it is stuff we have to do, like get Shane a haircut and some new clothes. The rest of the list is what’s left of our summer bucket list- the things that Shane and I decided we really wanted to do this summer!
The next three weeks will be jam-packed with fun, and I plan to enjoy every ounce of summer that’s left- starting with one of my favorite summer treats. It’s no secret that I love s’mores in any form, and this S’mores Bark is no exception!
This recipe is easy- the kids can even help! {Just be careful with the melted chocolate- it’s hot and messy.} It takes just three ingredients and is the perfect snack to celebrate the last days of summer!
S’mores Bark
Ingredients:
1 12 oz package of chocolate candy melts
1 C. Kraft Mallow Bits
1 C. Golden Grahams cereal
Directions:
1. Pour the chocolate candy melts into a microwave safe dish. Heat in 30 second increments, stirring every 30 seconds until melted.
2. Allow the melted chocolate to cool a few minutes. If using a glass dish it will be hot.
3. Line a baking sheet with foil.
4. Pour the melted chocolate onto the foil lined baking sheet and use a spoon to spread out. You can make it as thick or as thin as you’d like.
5. Sprinkle the Kraft Mallow Bits and Golden Grahams on top.
6. Place the baking sheet in the fridge to set {about 15-20 minutes}.
7. Remove from the fridge and break into smaller pieces. Enjoy!

I think I could do this one, sounds easy enough. Between anything smore’s or nutella,my kids are having sugar overload. I have limit them and just give for a bit of dessert after dinner. Might give this a try for them.
