I would love to be a scrapbooker, but I just don’t have the time. So much work goes into every page & it can take years to make one book. That’s why I love Shutterfly’s photo books- in just a few minutes {or a little longer if you want to use their fun embellishments} I can create & order a professional book full of my family’s photos.

We’ve made a few photo books before, including two for Shane {one of his first Thanksgiving & one of our first trip to Disneyland} as well as one that served as the guest book at our wedding. I am fairly used to the process of making & ordering the books, but now Shutterfly has a new way to do that- on the iPad!

The new iPad app makes it easier & faster than ever to make your own professional photo book. You can login to your favorite social networking sites, like Facebook and Instagram, to choose photos directly from their platforms to include. &Of course, you can also use photos on your iPad as well, or photos uploaded to Shutterfly.

There are still multiple themes to choose from, and you can choose to prepopulate your book using your photos & selected theme, or you can get a little more custom &choose your own page layouts &where your photos go.

I used the app to make a new photo book, which was all about Shane’s summer. I went with the option to choose my own page layouts & place my own photos, and I was still done within a half an hour!

Shane loved watching me work on it & talked about each photo as I placed it. It was a fun way to think about our adventures again- and we’ll be able to do that forever now that we have a printed photo book of all of our memories from summer! &I didn’t even have to use a glue stick.
