Espresso  Cookies

The perfect cookies for coffee fans

If you love cookies & coffee, I have the perfect treat for you! These cookies are absolutely delicious- chewy, chocolatey, and full of REAL espresso!

You Will Need:

-flour -unsweetened cocoa powder -instant espresso powder -baking soda -salt -unsalted butter -granulated sugar -egg -vanilla extract -chocolate chips

CAN I USE DARK CHOCOLATE CHIPS INSTEAD OF SEMI-SWEET CHOCOLATE CHIPS? Sure, but between the dark chocolate and the espresso they might end up a little bitter. On the flip side, if you have a sweet tooth, you might want to try these with milk chocolate chips!

CAN I USE WHOLE-WHEAT FLOUR? Yes! That type of flour does absorb more moisture so you'll want to add an extra splash of milk or a little extra butter so they cookies don't end up dry and crumbly.

CAN I USE INSTANT COFFEE POWDER INSTEAD OF ESPRESSO POWDER? Yes, but it will taste a little bit different. Espresso powder is usually more intense and concentrated.
