Where has this year gone? I can’t believe it’s already July! We are definitely in the middle of summer now, and what better way to cool off than with some strawberries? These Strawberry Pops are the perfect treat to combat the scorching temps.
Ingredients:
1 cup of heavy cream {you can substitute for half and half if you don’t wish to use sugar}
1/4 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of strawberry puree {blend this in a blender until liquid form}
1 cup of cut up strawberries
Directions:
1. Mix your cream and sugar together. Then add in your strawberry puree.
2. Put a few pieces of strawberries in the pop mold of your choice. Slowly pour some of the liquid mixture in, but not to the very top!
3. Place in freezer for at least 3 hours or so until hardened.
4. Take out and enjoy!
Strawberries are my absolute favorite fruit, and they are the best in the summer so I like to go crazy and enjoy them in as many ways as possible, but these are definitely one of the most refreshing options. Bon appetit!
