One of my favorite treats to make with the kids is candy bark. There are so many different ways to make it and it’s just so easy! It just takes some Wilton Candy Melts and whatever toppings you decide to go with. Candy bark can be customized with whatever color you want and can be decorated for any season or occasion.
Since the 4th of July is just a few weeks away, the boys and I made some Fireworks Candy Bark! It was so incredibly easy- get the recipe below:

Fireworks Candy Bark
Ingredients:
1 Bag White Wilton Candy Melts
2 Bags Blue Pop Rocks Candy {We used Blueberry}
2 Bags Red Pop Rocks Candy {We used Strawberry}

Directions:
1. Pour candy melts into a medium microwave-safe bowl. Put into microwave and heat on full power for 45 seconds.
2. Remove from microwave and stir well. Continue to microwave in 15 second increments until the candy melts are fully melted, stirring between each microwave session.
3. Working quickly, pour the candy melts into a sheet cake pan lined with wax paper. If you don’t have a sheet cake pan a cookie sheet will work, but you need to be extra careful not to go too close to the edge so your melted candy doesn’t drip over the edges!
4. While your candy melts are still melted, sprinkle Pop Rocks all over.
5. Place entire pan {or sheet} into the fridge and allow to set for about 45 minutes.
6. Now the really fun part- take out your creation and break it into pieces!
7. Enjoy! Your candy bark can be stored in a food storage bag at room temperature or in the fridge.

This Firework Candy Bark is so much fun- the Pop Rocks pop like fireworks in your mouth! It’s perfect for the 4th of July but really you could make it for anything. You can easily swap out the color of the candy melts or Pop Rocks for a birthday party, New Year’s Eve, or just for fun.
