It’s almost Valentine’s Day! Around here, Valentine’s Day is more for the kids than us and we really like taking the chance to show the kids we love them. I also love using the day as a way to teach them about showing their love for others!
Whether I’m helping Shane write a special card to his grandparents or helping him bake cupcakes to share with the family, I love that Valentine’s Day is a special day for our kids to learn to express their love and gratitude for their friends and family members.
The only part of the holiday that can sometimes stress me out? Buying classroom Valentine’s! I love the idea of doing them, but Shane always waits so long to decide what kind to get that we don’t pick ours until there are only a few choices left at the store that he’s not really into.
It’s also frustrating that he has 20 kids in his class including him, and the boxes of Valentine’s come with 18 in a box- which means we’re literally buying a second box for one Valentine {or two, if he gives one to his teacher}.
So this year we’re doing it smarter- we’re using these free, printable Valentine’s Day cards that we can make at home!
We are going to print how many we need without worrying about buying a whole extra box and since Shane is getting really into Minecraft lately, he’s really excited to hand these out! The best part? You can download and print these for free too, right now!
Just click here to access the PDF {or click on the picture below} and you’ll be able to print as many sheets as you need.
Tip: I do recommend using cardstock instead of regular printer paper {this pack is over half-off right now} and to save even more time, and this paper cutter will help you trim the edges even faster!
