Shane’s a really picky eater, so I have to be a little “creative” when it comes to getting him to eat his vegetables. Since he’s such a big fan of pizza, these veggie pizza pockets- packed with green pepper & broccoli- are a great way to get him to eat his veggies without the fight. Plus? They’re super yummy.
Ingredients
- 2 tubes Pillsbury Crescent Roll Dough
- 1/2 Cup Pizza Sauce
- 1 Cup Broccoli, Chopped
- 1 Cup Finely Shredded Mozzarella
- 3 Tbsp Green Pepper
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees {or 350 for a non-stick pan}.
Mix pizza sauce, broccoli, green pepper & mozzarella in a medium bowl until blended.
Unroll crescent roll dough. Place about a Tbsp of mixture toward the bottom of each triangle, almost at the thickest point.
Roll from the bottom, and making sure to keep contents inside.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
