Shane has been a fan of video games since he was around 5. Back then, there were lots of games that had physical components, which really made it interactive and added a real-world element to playing. There haven’t been many games like that lately, so I was thrilled when I found out about Starlink: Battle for Atlas!
Starlink: Battle for Atlas is an open-world game, which means you have the freedom to explore while playing instead of following a specific course. It features modular toy technology, which is a fancy way of saying that it brings back that real-world, physical connection to game play! There are physical starships, pilots, and even weapons that connect together to make a huge variety of combinations that change game play. The pieces all connect together and you can change them at any time, even mid-game, to make sure that you have the best ship, weapon, or pilot for each task. It adds a new level of strategy to the game!
Starlink: Battle for Atlas is the next part in the Star Fox series, and takes the player on an epic adventure across the Atlas star system. You can play it in single player or with a friend in two-player split-screen local co-op.
Shane really likes games that have physical components, so he was really excited to try this game. He’s barely scratched the surface with this one since there’s a lot to explore, but he’s looking forward to spending more time exploring the skies!
Starlink: Battle for Atlas is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation®4 and Xbox One. Right now {and ending today!} you can save $25 on a Starter Pack- and 30% off Starlink toys- only at Best Buy! Learn more and get yours right here!
