School starts soon for Shane, so I’ve been spending some time looking into different activities that I could do with Zac now that Shane will be gone for almost 7 hours a day. I know it’ll be an adjustment for Zac, who is used to having his best friend home with him all day, so I’m really hoping to distract him- and even better if he can have fun and learn a little, too!
Since Shane was just ten months old, we’ve been a Gymboree family. Shane attended Play classes until he was three, then tried out art and music. The summer between Preschool & Kindergarten he attended School Skills classes, which helped him learn how to behave in a classroom and reinforced some skills he’d picked up in Preschool. When Zac was just over three months old, I began taking him to Gymboree and we’ve been going every week ever since!
There are so many things to do at Gymboree Play & Music. The learning center is geared toward children from birth to five years old {so Shane will be aging out next month- it’s the end of an era} and has many different classes so that you can find the perfect fit for your little one.
