I’m in the middle of planning my wedding, &my “I do” to-do list is about a mile long. So whenever I find something that will make my life easier, even just a little bit, I jump right on it! So when I realized how helpful YesVideo could be for my wedding- both before and after- I knew I had to share it with anyone else planning a wedding out there.
1. Compile your childhood memories &make a DVD montage. Once your old memories are digitized by YesVideo, you will be sent an email saying your items are available online. Once you go online, you can create a montage using clips from your memories- a great touch for running in the background or even highlighting during the reception! You can combine memories of your childhood, your soon-to-be-spouse’s childhood, and even your relationship.
2. Collect & Combine. If you have several people recording or photographing your wedding, ask them all to borrow their footage to send it in to YesVideo. Not only will you be able to make a copy for yourself, but you can pick & choose what footage you want to use. Did your Great Great Aunt film your two year old cousin picking her nose for 2 minutes? You can totally skip that. But maybe your second-cousin-twice-removed got the perfect shot of a stolen kiss between you & your new husband. It could very well become your new favorite picture!
3. Use DVD’s as gifts. Once you’ve created the perfect DVD full of memories from your big day, you could do the same for the members of your bridal party. While most people may not need entire DVD’s of your family {especially if they aren’t family as well}, most bridesmaids would appreciate a DVD with photos & videos from their part in the ceremony. Shots of them walking down the aisle, helping with your dress, and dancing the night away will help keep the memory alive and show them how much you appreciated having them be part of your big day.
If you’re planning your wedding, let YesVideo make your life easier. You can get started with any of the above by visiting YesVideo’s website. Or if your wedding memories are on tape or another format, let YesVideo digitize the footage so that you’ll have it for decades to come.
If you’re already married, how did you save your wedding memories?
