I love to play games- it’s such a great way to connect as a family, and to unplug for a bit. But Hubby & I have trouble finding the time for long games, and most games tend to run long when there’s only 2 players {plus Shane pretending to play with the extra dice we keep on hand}. That’s why we love Cranium Brain Breaks- it literally only takes ONE minute!
Cranium Brain Breaks contains an hourglass timed for one minute as well as cards that give you the mini-game to play in that one minute. The mini-game categories are from the classic Cranium: Creative Cat, Word Worm, Star Performer & Data Head. For some tasks you’ll have to shape clay, for others you’ll have to run around the house finding objects- and then there’s our personal favorite, where you have to draw. For example, I was given the task of drawing two nursery rhymes & getting Hubby to guess them before the minute was up.
Super obvious, right? No? Okay fine, here are some hints:
How about now? Eh, Hubby didn’t get it either. It was Humpty Dumpty! {He did, however, get Jack & Jill from the bottom right!}
I talked Hubby into playing {on a week night, no less!} by reminding him that they’re only 1 minute games and we could stop whenever. But we were having so much fun, we must have played at least 15 games- and we were still in bed on time.
With over 200 games in one convenient case, Cranium Brain Breaks is a great game to play when you’re short on time or just want to challenge yourself! &I love that you work as a team instead of against each other {although there is a competitive way to play if that’s your thing}.
Cranium Brain Breaks is for 2 or more players, ages 8 & up and retails for $14.99 at mass merchandise retailers nationwide!
&Best of all? One lucky {Not Quite} Susie Homemaker reader is going to win their own game!
Just enter using the Rafflecopter form below, but hurry- this giveaway ends on October 20th! Good luck!
Susie’s Note: I received my own game to facilitate this review, but all opinions are my own.
