Saturday Shanefest

So on Saturdays, the lovely ladies over at SITS do a comment game called Saturday Sharefest. So I’ve decided in honor of that, I’ll be doing Saturday SHANEfests!
I try not to talk about my little man too much because while I am a mommy, and a blogger, I don’t really consider myself a “mommy blogger” in that my blog is not really about my child. It’s about being a mom, a wife, and a woman. However, I’m just so stinking proud of the little booger that I’ve decided that once a week, I’ll share all of his cuteness and brag about how awesome he is.

So without further ado, welcome to Shanefest!
So this week, Shane has picked up some great new tricks. He has figured out how to clap, wave, and screech in content at a pitch that only the dog can hear.
He’s also crawling with his tummy off the floor. He’s still only crawling backwards though (which is how he ended up under the playpen…) but we’re working on it!
He can now stand on his own for a pretty impressive length of time. &Unless he’s nursing or going to sleep, he refuses to lay down. He will sit for hours!
Oh yeah, & the tooth fairy visited again this week so Shane now has TWO teeth! You can kind of see the first one (the front bottom) in this picture:
