All I Want For Christmas Is You ♥

So Christmas is in just a few days, and I keep getting asked what I want. I don’t think Justin’s planning anything because he just got me a big birthday gift in November, but I’ve gotten asked no less than five times this week what I want. It’s kind of an awkward thing to answer, because while gifts are fun, I don’t really need anything.

A year ago I would have said I could use money toward a car, but I just got a new one in March from a car dealership that my friend was dating the manager of- so we got a smokin’ deal. &While it’s not the car of my dreams {I’d kill to  trade it in for something at a Volkswagon or Jeep dealership}, it’s perfectly fine.

So what DO I want?

A KitchenAid Stand Mixer
This thing has been at the top of my wishlist for YEARS. Bonus points for including the attachments!

An iPad
Because, duh.

A New Phone

Because mine? Sucks.

A New Bedding Set

All of ours either have rips or don’t fit quite right on our super-deep mattress.

A Puppy
Just look at that face!

So friends & family- these are the things I want. BUT- not from you guys! These are things that I’ll be working toward getting myself this year.

People say this all the time, but I really mean it: ALL I want for Christmas is YOU!

What’s on YOUR Christmas list?

My Mother’s Day Wishlist

Well, as I’m sure you’ve heard by now, Mother’s Day is this Sunday! I’ve spent the better part of the last week trying to figure out what to get MY mom & my mother-in-law, and barely even remembered that I’m a mom, &Sunday is a day to celebrate ME! I’m all about celebrating myself, so I thought I’d drop a few casual “hints” to the Hubby to show him some great items I’d appreciate getting this Mother’s Day!

Obviously, I am a mother all the time. Whether I’m eating, sleeping, working or playing, I am a mother. But, I think that Mother’s Day should be a day to remind ourselves that while we are kick-butt moms, we aren’t JUST moms. We are women, too. So I want something that’ll take me from feeling like a frumpy mom to a flirty woman. So, enter the following items from EdenFantasys!

The Collection- Oils Gift Set, $32.99

I LOVE getting massages, &these oils are cheaper and will last MUCH longer than an hour long appointment at the massage parlor with some creepy guy with dry hands.

Cosmo’s Truth Or Dare, $9.95

In junior high, I had a super cool “Truth or Dare” book- but it was PG Rated and SO not like this book! It’s by Cosmo so I have high hopes for it- I just hope there are some good truths in there as well, because I’m kind of a wuss at that game!

Love Notes, $7.95

I love coupon books. I’ve made them for Hubby in the past, but he always forgets to redeem them. {Crap, I probably just reminded him.} Well, trust me when I say if I had this book I’d redeem them ALL! The ones I’ve seen are ADORABLE- One was “Make me a mix of 10 songs that remind you of me, and one that will surprise me.” How cute is that?!

Mesh babydoll with G-String, $25.99

I’ve still got MAJOR post-baby body issues going on- both physically and mentally. While I’m grateful for all my body did to create & birth Shane, I really wish it would stop reminding me of its efforts every time I see my stretch marks in the mirror. With this babydoll, I could stop being so self conscious about my stretch marks & really live in the moment. While Hubby may see a pile of lace & mesh, I see self-confidence in a bag, and that’s something you can’t put a price on!

What about you? What are you hoping to be surprised with on Mother’s Day? Something sweet? Sexy? Silly? Share it in the comments!

Susie’s Note:
I was compensated for this post, but ALL opinions are my own- especially those regarding my stretch marks. In fact, there’s a good chance I’ll be using the gift card I get to buy those Love Notes- I’m in lust with them! Anyway, per usual, compensation did not affect anything I shared here. Enjoy!
