I LOVE clothes, but I almost never shop for or buy any. Before I had Shane, I shopped in the juniors section. I wasn’t skinny, but I could easily wear a size large from that section & it worked. Now, even though I actually weigh less than before I got pregnant, my body has changed so much that I can’t pull that off anymore. I actually have hips now, and so I’ve been trying to shop in the Women’s department at stores, but their clothes are just too… old. I’m a mom, but I’m only 24, so I need to shop somewhere that has clothes that fit my grown-up body but that appeal to my youthful style & don’t make me look like I’m wearing a shower curtain.

The last time I went to the mall, I popped into Lane Bryant. I had never shopped there before but I had a friend recommend their jeans to me, so I thought I’d take a peek. They had so.much.cute.stuff! Justin & Shane were with me, so I only had time to try on a couple of things, but just from looking around I can tell that they are the store I’ve been looking for to help me actually look my age. &If you are an older woman? Update: So they were out of stock of that shirt because I’m not the only one who liked it, but I did find a great outfit! Not only can I wear this outfit during the day or at night, but it’s also a great Holiday outfit! Here’s what I ended up with:

It’s hard to tell from the photo, but the pants are jeggings & I got the long sleeve cardigan in Barbados Cherry since it’s great for the Holiday season & beyond! &I love that I can have the cardigan buttoned or unbuttoned depending on where I’m going.
