Week 10 Weigh-In! #NSNation

I’m behind on Nutrisystem updates again, so I’ll be playing catch-up again this week!

In Week 10, I continued as I had been doing, and lost another .5 lbs! Not a huge loss, but I’m still happy with it. After all, it’s still a loss!

One of the things that I love about Nutrisystem is that you can choose whichever foods you want for the pantry portion. This has become my own secret weapon in fighting temptation! For my last order, I actually ordered ONLY the pizzas for dinner- it sounds crazy, but I actually thrive when I eat the same thing almost every day because I’m not looking around the kitchen deciding what to have for dinner & getting tempted by all of the non-Nutrisystem foods. I already know what I’m going to have, & the pizzas are so yummy that I don’t feel like I’m missing out. &The frozen portion of the meals is still pre-selected, so there’s always some variety in that for those times that I do get sick of the pizza. {But seriously, who gets sick of pizza?!}

Week 9 Weigh-In! #NSNation

Week 9 was a moment I had been waiting on for weeks. After weeks of the Nutrisystem plan with no movement on the scale and a .5 lb. loss in Week 8, I finally lost 1.5 lbs. in Week 9! I was even more excited because the loss brought my weight down to the next digit in the ten’s place! {I don’t want to reveal my actual weight until my weight loss journey is complete but for example, if I was 121 lbs. then I went down to 119.5. Except if I was 119.5, I’d be running around naked & showing off, just so we’re clear.}

I’d love to say that I did something different this week, but really, it was the same. I think my body just stopped being angry at me for the shock from the switch & gave in or something. I had been doing things pretty well since the beginning- I won’t say I am on-track 100% of the time, but I will say it’s around 85-90% of the time, which is where I’m still at.

I would love to dedicate myself to the plan 100% and it’s something I set out to do every single week, but at some point or another during the week, temptation gets me. Either I make a recipe to share with you all that I simply must taste-test first, or Shane leaves a few bites of his chicken on his plate after dinner that I don’t want to “waste”. Like I said, I’d love to commit 100%, and I’m trying, but temptation is not something I’m good with! But, I’m going to keep trying my hardest, and I suppose that’s the best I can do!

Nutrisystem Week 8 Weigh-In! #NSNation

I’m a week behind so I’ll be playing catch up this week!

During my 8th week on Nutrisystem, I finally got the scale to budge & lost… 1/2 a pound! It may not seem like much but I’ve been working hard & haven’t seen the scale move in weeks so even .5 is a victory to me.

It was the same week as Easter, but we didn’t do an Easter dinner really {we did bring Rubio’s to my in-laws for lunch, but it was no Holiday feast!} but there was a LOT of candy of course. Easter candy is totally my downfall. So I allowed myself to have a few pieces but not go crazy. Come back tomorrow to see if it totally ruined my results for Week 9!

Week Seven Weigh-In #NSNation

Another week on Nutrisystem, another weigh-in to report!

I actually did a pretty good job this week sticking to the plan, but my scale disagrees. I’m stuck at the same number- again. *Insert dramatic sigh here*

That said, I bought some new clothes this week {as mine are getting too big}, and they were a whole size smaller than usual. It felt pretty awesome to be able to actually buy stuff at Forever 21, who doesn’t ever have my “old” size, XL, in stock. I bought everything as a size large, and it’s all a bit big on me even. {I’m at that weird in-between now- but at least it’s between M & L and not L & XL!}

So even though my scale refuses to budge, I’m still feeling alright because I know my body’s changing. 2 months ago, when I started Nutrisystem, I couldn’t have bought these clothes, so I consider that an accomplishment!

Now, here’s to hoping my scale agrees next week!

Week Six Weigh-In #NSNation

I can’t believe it’s already time for another Nutrisystem weigh-in! Time has been going super fast lately.

This week I maintained last week’s weight. I am actually okay with that this week, because it was a rough week. I’ve been exhausted every single day {which means in bed by 8:30pm- yes, that exhausted} and felt like I was being pulled in a million different directions. I think that the fact that I didn’t gain this week is proof enough of how great Nutrisystem is.

That said, I am super rededicating myself as of today, which means pulling out the daily tracker {which is a really handy tool that came with my kit} &actually remembering to use it. I actually have this whole week off of work, which I think will make it easier to stick to the plan. Without the distraction of the lunch service truck, or the dozens of restaurants on my way home from work, I won’t be as tempted. Plus, I’ll have more time to actually work out this week as well. So, the point is, I’m really excited for next week’s weigh-in!
