Meet the Wives of Private Lives of Nashville Wives!

I was compensated for my work on this campaign, however all opinions are my own.

Lately, I’ve been spending a lot of time watching TV. When you’re nursing around the clock, there’s not much else you can do to keep yourself entertained- or awake, for that matter. Last night, a new show premiered that has officially been added to my list of “my shows”- Private Lives of Nashville Wives!

Last night was the very first episode, so a lot of time was spent meeting each wife. I was really impressed by the fact that every woman was more than trophy wife like is often the case on reality shows- these women had real personalities! Each one reminded me of someone I know in real life- albeit a slightly more dramatic version sometimes, since it is reality TV & all.

Betty Malo and Ana Fernandez, who are twin sisters, cracked me up. They have very strong personalities & they argue with each other constantly. Betty is married to the lead singer of The Mavericks, and together they have three sons who also play music. It was such a sweet moment watching two of the boys play with their dad {one of the sons played the accordion!} because I hope one day at least one of my sons will share one of my interests and we’ll be able to bond like that.

Erika White used to be an actress on One Life to Live, which she starred on for several years. She gave it up to be a stay-at-home-mom though, making her the wife that I most related to in the first episode. She loves being a mom & spending time with her kids, and that really comes through when you see their interactions. However, her kids are growing up and she’s thinking about trying to be an actress again before it’s too late.

Sarah Davidson is an up-and-coming country music star who is working hard to make her dream career a reality. She’s married to Dallas Davidson, who has won several ACM & CMA awards for the multiple #1 hits he’s written, yet he is very supportive of his wife’s efforts to have her own career on her own terms.

Cassie Chapman is a former Hooters girl & model who fell in love with her husband, country music legend Gary Chapman, and moved to Nashville to be with him. She’s much younger than him but you can tell that she really loves him and isn’t just a trophy wife.

Jenny Terrell is a VP at Living Social and is a huge deal. She travels a lot & works a lot, but takes time for her family when she can. Her husband owns an event company but spends most of his time taking care of their young son. During the premiere episode, he mentions to Jenny that their son could use a playmate, but Jenny doesn’t seem quite ready. It’ll be interesting to see where that goes!

Now that I know who everyone is & can keep their storylines straight, I’m ready for the real fun to begin! The preview for next week hints at a little bit of drama, so be sure to tune in next Monday at 10/9c on TNT!

Will you be watching Private Lives of Nashville Wives?

I am looking forward to watching it because I am a reality show junkie. But I do wish there would be a show that shows housewives who are more similar to the majority of the country not wealthy people who are gonna gain more wealth through a TV show. Being from TN, this is definitely not anything like a day in the life of all my friends who are real Nashville housewives.

I honestly have to say that I’ve never been a fan of any of the “Wives of…” shows. Half of them are just spoiled rotten brats so I never watch again after the first couple of episodes. Give me something more my style like, Duck Dynasty OR my new favorite “Hollywood Hillbillies” and I”m happy. I did see the commercials for this show though and I want to watch the first couple to see if I like them. I love reality TV.

I missed this show the other night. I saw the preview and thought it looked pretty good. I am glad to hear it was actually good. I will have to check On Demand and set my DVR to record the show. Great Review!
