You may have seen the adorable Pull-Ups commercials lately where they throw a parade for a little boy in honor of his “First Flush”. If you haven’t, it’s cute &worth a look:
On January 29th, Pull-Ups is throwing a real celebration in Times Square to help parents & their little ones to start off potty training in a fun way! There will be a giant potty, live performers and a spectacular light-up billboard celebration to commemorate the big step of their “First Flush”.

Even better? You can be a part of the celebration! Pull-Ups is asking parents to share their tot’s First Flush celebration moment for the chance to be featured on a Times Square billboard during the First Flush celebration. When you submit your child’s First Flush moment, you’ll also be entered to win a 4-day family fun getaway to Orlando! {You can enter here!}
Speaking of Pull-Ups, I am proud to report that Shane has now finally ditched his diapers & made the switch to Pull-Ups! He is still wearing his night time diapers, but that’s just because we couldn’t find the night time Pull-Ups in his size at the store. He actually really wants them though because they glow in the dark!
To get Shane to switch to Pull-Ups, I just told him that when we ran out of diapers, we weren’t getting any more. I told him this for a few days so that he was ready, and then when the time came, he was sad to be without his diapers {he used to use them as a security item, which was a major reason potty training has been so rough} but he eventually embraced his Pull-Ups. Now the trick is to warn him that when we’re out of Pull-Ups, it’s time for the big boy potty!
Did you do anything to celebrate your little one’s “First Flush”?
Note: I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Pull-Ups. I received product samples to facilitate my review and to host a party. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

We always did a potty treasure box to make potty training fun. The first time they went potty they got a really big treat.
This is such a fun idea.
How cool would it be to win? Too bad I don’t have any little ones anymore.

Awww I remember that stage – though I’m not sure I’m 100% out of it. My 4 year old still needs pull ups for bedtime as he tends to have accidents.
I bet this will be fun for the kids that will be there.
