When I was a little girl, I loved dressing my dolls up in the outfits for different careers. I imagined my dolls as veternarians, teachers, and ballerinas. It was so fun to imagine that you could just wake up one morning and decide to do something different!
One of the most popular characters of this generation- Dora the Explorer- likes to try on quite a few hats of her own. She's been a pirate, a ballerina, even a mermaid, and now she's a gymnast!
If your child loves Dora as much as mine does, you have to head to Walmart this weekend! In participating stores this weekend, there will be special in-store events including a Dora Gymnastics doll demo and the chance to decorate your own gymnastics show ribbon! {The events will be from 11AM-4PM; 1PM-6PM on 9/23 only.} Don't worry, the events are all indoors- so even if it still feels like summer there like it does here this will give you a fun activity to do inside!
Of course, Walmart is the go-to spot for anything and everything Dora Gymnastics! There you can find DVD's, dolls, video games, coloring books, clothing and more! We have a few books but we're still trying to get our hands on a Dora Mermaid since they were sold out all summer- but we may end up going for the Gymnastics one anyway because it looks really fun!
So make sure you look to see if a Walmart near you is participating & if they are, be sure to head there this weekend to check it out!
