For as much as I love to try new things, I am very particular about some brands for items that I use daily like toothpaste, dish soap, and shampoo. Wanting the same brand all the time sometimes means spending a little extra since I’m not just getting whatever is on sale- but I’m so loyal to these brands that it doesn’t bother me. Luckily though, I recently discovered that Dollar General stocks a lot of the brands that I am loyal to- so now I can save while still getting the products that I care about!

Shane’s not in school this year, but we still like to donate supplies to the local schools. Now I wish I hadn’t bought all our school supplies early. I will stop in though to pick up some stuff for a collection for families who may not be able to check off all their things on their school list!

I have been putting of back to school shopping, but I think I am going to have to do it this week! I will have to check out Dollar General, it is the only store actually in our town, but I haven’t bought school supplies there.

We don’t have a Dollar General here, instead we have Dollar Tree. I haven’t gone there for awhile though. I used to go there regularly to buy things like batteries, grill lighters, and holiday decorations because they were so much cheaper. I need to start doing that again!
