I live in a very dry climate, so I have to take extra measures to combat the dryness. I drink lots of diet soda water, use moisturizer daily & apply lip care several times a day. So when I forget to use my moisturizer or leave my lip care at home {or worse, Shane gets ahold of it & loses it for days at a time}, it has an immediate effect. I’ve learned a trick though to preventing that: buying multiples & stashing them where I need them most!
There’s a new lip care called NIVEA Kiss of Olive & Lemon Moisture Rich Lip Care that’s enhanced with natural olive oil & lemon extract to heal & soothe dry lips- as well as prevent your lips from getting dry in the first place. I recently tried it out & it has a yummy & very light, clean scent and it truly does moisturize very well.
The first day I tried it, my lips were a little dry {Shane had done the whole, losing my other lip care thing} and they felt so much better immediately after I put it on. Sometimes when your lips are cracked & you apply lip care, it can sting a little bit when it’s healing, but this lip care doesn’t do that at all. It was nothing but soothing the whole time, which was a very welcome relief. &By the next day, my lips weren’t dry anymore- and they haven’t been since as I’ve continued using it!
Not only is the NIVEA lip care a great product- but it’s a very affordable one, too! They’re so affordable that you could get several of them for the price of one of some of the other brands- and then you can stash one wherever you’ll need it! I have one in my purse, one in my nightstand, one in my junk drawer in the kitchen for when I’m downstairs & I even have a backup for when Shane inevitably loses one of those.
