I love companies that empower people, and Dove is one of the leading examples of that. Rather than buy in to the beauty myth for their advertising, Dove has been using real women in its advertising since 1957!

Dove’s newest campaign, “Show Us Your Skin”, gives you the opportunity to be in a Dove ad! All you have to do is upload a photo showing off your skin to the Dove Facebook page and make sure it meets all of the requirements outlined in the program rules. Every woman who submits a photo will appear in a Dove ad, which includes a billboard in Times Square and online digital ads! You’ll even receive an email with a photo of your moment of fame on the Times Square billboard. How fun is that?!

Recently I received the new Dove VisibleCare Toning Crème Body Wash and it was really nice! I have only used it a few times but already my skin feels a little softer. It says that it takes about 1 week to really see results, and about 3 weeks for best results, so I can’t wait to see it work it’s magic! The body wash contains Vitamin E and Dove’s exclusive NutrimMoisture, and it smells really good, too.
