One of my favorite things is my iPhone. I wanted one the first time I saw one & earlier this year, Justin surprised me with one. The things that this little device can do are amazing: it helps me check my emails wherever I am, it lets me read books in the dark before bed, and it even has a lot of really educational games for Shane. The latter though, can cause problems.
I don’t let Shane play with my phone all day long, but it always somehow works out that when Justin is calling me, Shane has my phone. &While after some discussion he usually hands it over, I knew there had to be a better way. And I found it!

The Good Call iG1 Bluetooth handset is an extension of my iPhone that looks & acts like a home phone {except much more attractive}. When my iPhone rings, so does the Good Call- and I can answer it without even touching my actual phone. &Shane can keep on playing games while I’m on the phone, too!
That’s probably my favorite feature of the handset, because it’s come in handy the most. But there are a LOT of great features:

It multi-tasks. The docking station charges your iPhone whenever it’s docked, and if you connect it to your computer via the included USB it will sync your iTunes for you!
It’s better for you. Using the handset reduces your exposure to cell phone radiation.

It has just four buttons that do a lot. Directly from your handset, you can start & end calls, make calls, use Siri to voice dial, redial, change the volume, mute & unmute, and use call waiting!

It’s easy to connect. Just go into your phone’s general settings, turn on Bluetooth, hold the green button on the Good Call handset for two seconds {until it makes a sound} &then select it in your phone’s menu!

It’s much more convenient to hold for long periods of time. When I catch up with a friend I haven’t talked to in awhile, my neck can cramp if I just use my iPhone. But the handset makes it easier to hold and is much more comfortable. &Even Shane can hold it with ease{even if he hasn’t quite mastered the “ear piece” concept yet}!
If you still owe Dad a belated Father’s Day gift, the Good Call would be a great choice! {It’s actually a good choice for anyone with an iPhone, though!}

it works when it’s docked and not
It charges your phone while it’s docked!
I love the multi task feature! My phone is always low on battery, so it would be nice to have an extra charging station!
my favorite feature is being able to hold a regular phone with the use of my iphone. love that! no more shoulder & hand cramps! woo
I love that it’s a “regular” size phone but I can still use my iPhone. that’s amazing. We only use our cell phones now (don’t even have a home phone) and I forgot how easier it is to hold a regular phone.
