New Quaker Soft Baked Bars: A Wholesome Breakfast Snack!

Shane isn’t a great eater. The few things that he likes, he just kind of nibbles at. He barely eats anything all day, and then suddenly while we’re at the store or at the park, he decides he’s ravenous.

I figured out very quickly that a hungry Shane isn’t a happy Shane, so I started carrying snacks in my bag for him for these occasions. I pack easy, portable, low maintenance snacks that won’t get crushed under the weight of my purse, like applesauce pouches or fruit snacks. We recently discovered the Quaker Soft Baked Bar, and it's become a favorite!

The Quaker Soft Baked Bars have only 140 calories, but they pack 5g of Fiber & 6g of Protein. They’re also an excellent source of 5 B-Vitamins, something that his fruit snacks definitely don’t offer. &They’re made with real fruits and nuts, which makes me feel good about giving them to Shane.

They make for a great breakfast snack, too- Justin likes to grab them on his way to work and sometimes if Shane & I wake up late, I give him one on the way to wherever we’re going in the car. Since they’re chewy & soft, they don’t leave crumbs like most breakfast bars do, so I can let Shane have one in the car seat & not worry about the mess!

They come in two flavors- Cinnamon Roll & Banana Nut Bread. I love them both, but Shane loves the Cinnamon Roll more & Justin loves the Banana Nut Bread one more, so we keep both flavors on hand. They can be warmed up in the microwave for a special treat & they are like dessert breads that way!

We loved these bars & have already bought several more boxes. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a wholesome food that the whole family will enjoy!
